Charity Event: 5 Course Vegan Meal with Kat Lieu

The first collaboration between Dash of Soy and Kat Lieu to raise funds for the local Seattle Asian Counseling and Referral Service (www.acrs.org).

ACRS promotes social justice and the well-being and empowerment of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other underserved communities – including immigrants, refugees, and American-born – by developing, providing and advocating for innovative, effective and efficient community-based multilingual and multicultural services.

Kat Lieu is the founder of Subtle Asian Baking and modernasianbaking.com, and the bestselling author of Modern Asian Baking at Home. Currently, Kat is a full-time author, activist, and recipe developer. Follow her on Instagram.

This special and intimate charity event will feature a 5 course meal with all vegan-friendly dishes. The class will be taught by both Elaine Sher (founder of Dash of Soy) and Kat Lieu. The amazing menu includes Spicy QQ Kimchi Pancake, Braised Shiitake Mushroom, Stir-fried Bok Choy in the Wok, Umami Fried Rice with Fermented Tofu Sauce, and Ube Mochi Cake as dessert. Majority of the proceeds will go to ACRS with a donation receipt available upon request.

Book a class.

New dates are being added all the time. If you don’t see any class dates listed below, pre-register for free so we know what classes to prioritize. You can also book a private event if you have at least 4 people in your group.

All sales are final with no refunds. We need a minimum of 3 students to host a class. If you signed up but we didn’t have enough students, unfortunately we need to reschedule. We will work with you directly to find a new date. Thank you for your understanding.

Please familiarize yourself with our covid policy. Thank you!
